Prof. Dr. Rasmus C. Beck has many years of management experience in innovative business promotion at local and regional level in Germany. He is an advisory board and supervisory board member in various international and national organizations such as the Real Estate Startup Incubator (RESI) at EBZ Business School Bochum, the Center for Startups and Innopreneurship (GUIDE) at the University of Duisburg-Essen and the Research Institute on Comparative Urban Research (EURICUR) at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Catholic University Leuven. Rasmus holds a M.A. & doctoral degree (Dr. rer. soc.) in Political Science from the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen and is author of numerous scientific articles on the future of cluster policies and regional economic development. Furthermore he is a Honorary Professor at the EBZ Business School Bochum, practice partner of the German Institute of Urban Transformation (DIUT) and a lecturer at the Ruhr-University Bochum, the University of Witten Herdecke and the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen.
